About Us

We are a Fundamental, Independent Baptist Church whose desire is to serve and live for the Lord.  He is not only our Saviour, but our Lord, whom we should submit to and serve in our daily lives.  Some of our beliefs and convictions are listed below.
  • The King James Bible:

    • We believe that the 1611 King James Bible (also referred to as the Authorized Version) is the inspired Word of God for the English language.
  • Salvation:

    • We believe that salvation is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the Son of God.  He was born into this world and lived a sin free life.  He was sacrificed on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose on the third day.  He is now in Heaven and makes intercession for us with God the Father.  In order to be saved, you must recognize that you are a sinner, repent of your sins, and ask Jesus to forgive you and save your soul.  The choice we make in this life will last throughout eternity.  There are only two choices:
      • 1) To accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and spend eternity with Him in Heaven, or
      • 2) To reject Jesus and continue to be a child of Satan, living in the lusts of the flesh, which will result in eternal torment in that terrible place called Hell.
  • The Trinity:

    • We believe in three Persons in one God - God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
  • Baptism:

    • We believe in believer’s baptism.  That is, baptism has nothing to do with salvation, but is rather is a public profession of faith and salvation.
  • Family Worship:

    • We believe that a family should worship together.  All too often in today’s society, families are activity driven, constantly on the go, and seldom spend time together as a family.  This practice has infiltrated most churches of the day, no matter what religion.  We believe that families should spend as much time together as possible, including worship.  It is the responsibility of the dad, as spiritual leader of the family, to answer questions or explain things that the younger children may not understand.  Family worship also allows the children to learn from and respect their elders.
  • Soul-Winning:

    • We are a soul-winning church that desires to see people saved.  As a saved person, we are left here on this earth by God to be a witness and worker for Him.  We go on visitation throughout the local communities to witness and invite people to church.  We also preach at rescue missions, prisons, and on the street in and around Mobile County.
  • Home-Schooling:

    • We believe that our children should be educated the way that God intended them to be, and this cannot be done in the public school system, or private schools for that matter. Children should be taught not only the basic skills, but spiritually, in an environment free from the influences of the world.
  • Pro-Life:

    • This is plain and simple, abortion is MURDER and an abomination to God.  We are actively involved in a ministry to pregnant women from a respectful pro-life standpoint that also addresses the plan of salvation.
