The United Nations

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

Psalms 2:2-3

Global Government ~ New World Order

The United Nations was established in 1945, at the end of World War II. Its headquarters is on U. S. soil in New York City. The formation of the United Nations was an effort to ensure no more wars. After World War II, the world had seen 53 million casualties and people were sick of war. The concept of the United Nations is that all nations of the world would be members. It would possess its own court system and when there was a dispute between individual nations, it would be brought before the entire body. The nations of the world would vote and the majority would rule.

Former President George Bush, who went to war with Iraq in 1990 said, “The gulf crisis has to do with the new world order. And the new order is going to be enhanced if the newly activated peacekeeping function of the United Nations proves to be effective.”

- January 9, 1991 Press Conference

The United Nations is an instrument of Satan and is not the savior of the world. It is an attempt by men to bring peace and unity to the world without God. This organization desires a global military, global court and a global tax. The United Nations is a Trojan horse in America to destroy its very existence as a republic.

The United Nations is anti-God

In the United Nations Charter drawn up in 1945, nothing is said about God. There is much said about “us” and “we”, but nothing about God. The United Nations sees religion and mysticism as an important part of their agenda but rejects the God of the Bible. Fundamental Christianity is not only absent from the United Nations, but is viewed as a threat to its plans. The United Nations has its own meditation room for enlightenment and transformation. The stained glass that is near the entrance to the meditation room displays pagan symbolism like the god Pan. New Age and occultism is seen throughout the organization because Satan is its leader. To further show that the United Nations sees religion and mysticism as an important part of its plans, please consider the Ark of Hope. The Ark of Hope is a wooden chest wherein the Earth Charter document is placed inside. The Earth Charter is an international people’s treaty for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the twenty-first century. This charter has sixteen principles for building this global society. The Earth Charter was written on papyrus paper and placed inside the ark. The carrying poles are unicorn horns that render evil effective. Keep in mind, the Devil has always tried to copy and pervert everything God has done. According to the Web site of the United Nations, they describe the Ark of Hope in this manner: the five painted panels form the sides and top of the ark, each visualizes a season, a direction, an element, and a universal symbol. They also say that the symbols of faith from traditional religions and indigenous societies surround the top panel of “spirit” that honors the children and young animals of the world. Former United Nations assistant secretary General Robert Muller said, “If Christ came back to earth, His first visit would be to the United Nations to see if His dream of human oneness and brotherhood had come true.” He made this statement because he believes the United Nations represents the body of Christ and that divine government is the real goal of the United Nations. Please keep in mind that the chief architect (Alger Hess) of the United Nations Charter was a soviet agent. Communism has always been an enemy to God and His people. In Genesis 11, when the nations came together to build the tower of Babel, they forgot God. They were led by Satan in their rebellious unity against the God of heaven and were scattered abroad in judgment.

The United Nations is anti-family

From the very beginning, the United Nations has been an enemy of the family. The motto of the United Nations children's fund is, “Every child is our child.” The United Nations desires to transform every child into a global citizen. The National Educational Association (NEA) is in favor of the United Nations and through public schools they can accomplish their agenda. The United Nations believes it takes a village to raise a child. The United Nations is against parental authority, home schooling and nationalism. It is for multiculturalism and globalism. As early as 1948, the children of the world became a prime target. That same year, a ten part series of booklets were published by UNESCO. This series was called, Towards World Understanding, which spelled out the United Nation’s role in the educating of the worlds children. The fifth booklet in this series is entitled, In the Classroom With Children Under Thirteen Years of Age. This booklet speaks of how the state-schools can correct many of the errors of home training of children in their early years. They literally believe the children are infected with nationalism and such before leaving the home to start kindergarten and grade school. The United Nations is also in the business of world population control. Human life is not sacred to the United Nations, but is a curse to mother earth. The United Nations insists that the earth is overpopulated and drastic measures must be adopted. The United Nations Population Fund spends a huge amount of money for population control programs of sterilization, abortion, and contraceptives for our youth. The United Nations has supported the brutal “one-child” policy in China. Again, the United Nations is an enemy of the family.

The United Nations is anti-gun

The United Nations wants to take your guns! Its goal is to disarm every person in the world and especially U. S. citizens. This would give a monopoly on power. The United Nations has on display at its headquarters in New York City a large sculpture entitled “Disarmament.” This piece of art is a large scale replica of a revolver with its barrel tied in a knot. It is interesting to note that the type of gun used as a model is not a military weapon, but a revolver, which is a civilian firearm. This display shows the United Nations’ desire to disarm every civilian in the world and especially in this country. There was a combat arms survey given to U. S. Marines in 1994. It contained the following words, “I am a United Nations fighting person. . . I would fire upon U. S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the U. S. government.” A United Nations disarmament film titled, Armed to the Teeth, states that the only guns that can be considered legal are those used by armies and police forces to protect us. A United Nations conference in July 2001 had as its goal the world wide seizure of civilian guns. Once a people is disarmed they can be put under bondage (I Samuel 13:19-20).

In conclusion, there is much more that could be said about the United Nations, whose desire is to have control over private and public property, global economy, international court, etc. God will judge the United Nations, Psalms 9:17. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” If the United Nations is associated with the beast of Revelation 13, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will crush it under His feet at His second coming (Revelation 19:11-21). The Preamble to the United Nations Charter makes the following statement: “Save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.” But the United Nations has not in any way prevented wars. There will be no peace until the Prince of Peace comes, Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
