Psalms 119
“Don't Add to or Take Away from God's Word.”
Deuteronomy 4:1-2 - Revelation 22:18-19
Lord - His Deity. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh according to I Timothy 3:16. He made Himself equal with the Father even though He became a servant. Jesus received worship, and only God was to be worshipped. About 700 times in the New Testament, the word Lord is used pertaining to Jesus Christ.
Jesus - His Name, which means Savior. Jesus is given a name above every name according to Philippians 2:9-11. There is no other name under Heaven whereby men can be saved.
Christ - His Title, the Anointed of God. He was declared to be the Son of the Living God which came down from heaven's glory to die for the sins of the world. Matthew 16:16
The purpose of this work is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, who is seated at the right hand of God in heaven and given the position as head over the church which is His body. Ephesians 1:20-23.
Psalms 119:89
“Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in Heaven.”
“LORD”
The versions repeatedly change Lord to Master, and there is a reason for it.
II Peter 2:1, they deny the Lord that bought them.
Master means: teacher (like a schoolmaster).
Lord means: owner; one who possesses supreme power and authority as the head or ruler of an estate or kingdom, including its inhabitants.
John 13:13: Jesus said to His disciples, “Ye call me Master and Lord; and ye say well; for so I am.” He was their Master and Lord, because they were believers. In I Corinthians 12:3, only believers call Him Lord.
After a man is converted, Jesus becomes his Lord and Master.
